Experience and approach
I started learning SEO in 2008, when I opened an electronics store. My first methods were built on content written for search engines and on external links — at the time there was almost nowhere to learn white-hat methods in the Russian-speaking market. In 2012, after Google Penguin took down many of the projects being promoted that way, I moved fully to white-hat methods and started working through Western blogs.
That is also when I traded the store for SEOquick. Today I work on AI and GEO — how brands appear in the answers of search and language models — run the English-language UNmiss project, and appear as a guest on industry podcasts.
